Dow Jones B2B information services is seeking a highly motivated self-driven and skilled Principal Principal Product Manager to assist with driving its growth efforts as we reimagine our Factiva. S/he will work closely with Engineering, Product Strategy, UX, Content and Data Strategy teams to lead functional and technical (API) requirements, own the product lifecycle from understanding scope till go-live to deliver innovative features and world-class user experience.
Responsibilities include:
Develop an expert understanding of our current and prospective users, and domain knowledge.
Partnering with key stakeholders to understand product vision and strategy, and ensure business goals and objectives are achieved in product / feature offerings.
Keeping up to date on voice of the customers to understand pain points; own the problems and collaborate with stakeholders to identify a feasible solution.
Write clear, concise requirements and user stories which clearly and unambiguously communicate acceptance criteria and work closely with cross functional teams throughout the product / feature life cycle.
Must be fluent in API documentation, and API testing.
Work cross functionally with research, UX, Product Strategy, Engineering to define business requirements and feasible solutions to deliver innovative solutions and world class user experience.
Partner with the analytics team to define metrics / KPIs for success and use them for making data driven informed roadmap decisions.
Proactively manage, and prioritize backlog.
Planning and executing (agile) roadmaps for web (desktop and mobile) iOS and Android. Must have experience working in an agile environment. Prudent in defining epic, user stories and details taking a user-focused approach to product development.
Define and measure KPIs for success.
Leverage LEAN Product development approach in bringing new products to market quickly and for ongoing iteration.
Requirements:
At least 5+ years of experience as product owner / manager in Fintech / SaaS products.
Passionate and knowledgeable about large datasets, content management workflow, B2B information services, and SaaS products.
Strong analytical skills, and technology background with a firm grasp on interconnected relationships between product and engineering teams.
Experience defining and implementing product requirements for delivering mission-driven products that translate our brand promise to the end users.
Strong knowledge of APIs - documentation, and testing.
Experience with UI/UX design, product requirements (including users stories, use cases, KPI, testing, and content management workflow.
experience in leveraging A/B and multivariate testing took in product optimization and enhancement.
Must maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Experience with agile/scrum and kanban methodology.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across the full spectrum of internal stakeholders and customers.
Proven ability partnering with a technology organization.
Highly strategic as well as detail-oriented.
