Product Manager
Dow Jones is on a journey to take our products to the next level and we need you to assist in making that happen. The Operations team is key to ensuring that our deliverables are executed as efficiently as possible. They are also our cultural backbone, team mentor, and give life to the organization.

You will also be responsible for translating the obtained information into usable work components that our engineering partners can work off of. Partnering with cross-functional teams to identify system constraints, and manage expectations, and risks.

Responsibilities include:
Develop an expert understanding of our current and prospective consumers
Understand the nuances behind different types of news content and define how they should be communicated to consumers.
Champion the user experience while delivering key business outcomes
Work cross-functionally across Design, Research, Engineering, Experimentation, the newsroom, and business stakeholders to define and prioritize business and newsroom requirements for FNLondon.com and PENews.com, driving user engagement as well as subscriptions and advertising revenue
Work with the Product team to define the product vision and roadmap that achieves product strategy and business outcomes for the Opinion and Style content sections
Proactively manage and prioritize a backlog
Write clear, concise requirements and user stories that clearly and unambiguously communicate acceptance criteria (i.e. what success looks like) and work closely with software developers throughout the product life cycle
Coordinate communication between developers, designers, and business stakeholders regarding goals, requirements, and growth expectations
Define success criteria and measure Key Performance Indicators to demonstrate ROI and P&L impact of product enhancements
Work with research teams to gather and analyze audience research and feedback regarding new products and enhancements

Requirements:
1-2 years of product management experience with consumer-facing products.
5+ years in a Business/Systems Analyst role
Passionate and knowledgeable about mobile, digital media, and news.
Decisive with a bias towards action; must thrive in fast-paced, agile environments
Ability to accurately handle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical skills, including knowledge of Adobe analytics platform and/or others
Ability to effectively present and explain results with quantitative information
Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative consumer research.
Experience defining and implementing product requirements for mobile apps.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across the full spectrum of internal stakeholders and customers.
Experience working closely with engineering and design teams.
