Dow Jones is looking for an experienced product leader to guide the product strategy for our portfolio of mobile applications including The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, and MarketWatch.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for and measured against driving growth and engagement performance across the DJ mobile portfolio. You should have experience leading and growing subscription products online, have a passion for quality news experiences that help business professionals make informed and critical decisions. You will be a leader within our Experience organization—a cross-discipline, collaborative unit that is helping to shape the future of our news experiences—during a time of subscriber growth and increasing engagement.

Define and own the end-to-end customer experience for Dow Jones mobile apps.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop roadmaps, using an OKR framework to set clear objectives and associated key results, tied to tech-wide and company-wide strategies and vision.
Leverage data and analytics to support your objectives.
Work in agile scrum framework, partnering with our PMO to plan, review, groom sprints. Partner with peers in product management, engineering, design, delivery and commercial to ensure communication across functions and removal of any blockers to delivery
Ensure that execution and vision are aligned, and communicate clearly and quickly any conflicts, questions or concerns about development, feature requests or timelines
Perform vendor analysis and recommend integrations where it makes sense, always with a keen, logical and dispassionate view on build vs. buy scenarios.
Partner with other leaders in Strategy as we take WSJ products to the next level and focus on digital innovation
Be fearless in launching and experimenting
5+ years of experience launching and growing mobile apps domestically and internationally
Experience optimizing the customer journey - from acquisition through conversion and engagement
Experience with DTC subscription products (International a plus)
Experience managing product roadmaps (by quarter) and backlogs (in two week sprints)
Strong technical knowledge and track record of partnering across functional and business teams.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders
Strong analytical skills, including knowledge of Adobe analytics platform.
Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative consumer research.
Demonstrable track record of innovative products that have sustainable revenue growth.
Media experience a plus
