Job Description:

We’re looking for a VP B2C Data Solutions who can work hand in hand with the CDO, Business, technology, Operations and the data team to deliver data insights and services for our consumer brands.

To do this job, you’ll need to be:

  • An excellent communicator – As a senior leader,, you will be the bridge between the business and engineering arms of the organization. You must be able to communicate highly-technical details to senior business stakeholders, and phrase business goals in technical terms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.

  • Technical – you won’t only be communicating back and forth, but often will be part of building solutions yourself. Familiarity with software engineering is necessary, and experience with data-related software engineering is preferred.

  • A supportive leader – although this role’s focus will be responsible for the B2C area of the business, you must be flexible enough to oversee and support projects on the B2B side to ensure all parts of the business are well-supported.

  • Display a data-driven, systematic mindset that prefers measurable outcomes to hyperboles.

  • Have a minimum of 15 years’ experience working at the intersection of business and data with a technology focus.

  • Knowledgeable in data solutions relating to B2B and B2C digital products, marketing, and services is a strong plus.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Establishing and owning a portfolio of data driven projects and initiatives that power the product teams by integrating data solutions into their development roadmaps.

  • Identifying, developing and testing new data led products that can be taken to consumers or businesses for incremental sales

  • Architecting for data-led value and facilitating real time data led dashboards for quick and efficient management decision making

  • Ensuring all company and department activities adhere to legal guidelines and policies.

  • Support data creation, collection and compliance efforts by creating data requirements and technical specifications

  • Support prioritization & specification of new requests by collaborating across product, B2C businesses Data and engineering teams

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior leaders across the organization (Product, Operations, Commerce, etc) to identify data needs and possible opportunities for improved efficiency, scalability, or veracity, as well as potential new revenue streams.

  • Steering program delivery and coordinating required team workshops, meetings and status updates to senior management.

  • Working towards achieving the company’s and department’s goals and objectives.

Here are some things that we'd prefer to see, though none is independently a requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or Business, Business Management

  • At least 15 years' experience in a management position. Experience managing a team (either directly or indirectly)

  • Experience as tech project, product or program manager within Agile/SCRUM enterprise-scale software development environments.

  • Experience with working with senior leadership

  • Outstanding leadership abilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of the latest business policies and regulations.

  • Demonstrable analytical thinking and business insight.

NYC Pay Range: $140,000 - $450,000
