Job Description:

Senior Manager, Engineering

Managers are responsible for an entire team of engineers, they ensure that they are tracking the team’s efficiency and quality of deliverables at SDLC and regularly adjusting processes and timelines to ensure high quality is delivered. They provide their team with regular feedback on career growth, progression towards goals, areas for improvement, and praise as warranted.

This position will be responsible for driving quality engineering best practices within Platform Engineering, working with teams to deliver applications and solutions that meet the expectations of our customers and stakeholders.


  • Design of strategies for test data definition and management, defect management, performance, reliability, scalability, and security, and static analysis through best practice methodologies and processes.

  • Define and implement automated test strategies, methodologies, processes, and procedures.

  • Investigate and recommend test infrastructure tools to support the quality engineering methodology, process, and procedures.

  • Drive adoption of test driven development methodologies.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of industry trends, our infrastructure, technologies, tools and systems

  • Keeps abreast of new and emerging business systems design and development techniques and makes appropriate recommendations for their use.

  • Aware of business impacts to the solutions delivered. Performs necessary investigation, analysis, and evaluation to determine project feasibility.

  • Understands and practices agile software development and management.


Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, followed by 3 years of progressively responsible experience with quality assurance and testing. Experience must include a minimum of 3 years of experience with:

  • Enterprise-level, professional information products.

  • Agile or another rapid application development environment.

  • Continuous integration and development.

  • Integrated test environments and tool chain automation.

  • Writing test cases and managing defects.

  • Designing and running functional, automated, system, and performance tests.
