Dow Jones (Sr.) Project Manager, Delivery Process Lead in PRINCETON, New Jersey

Job Description:

The Project Manager, Delivery Process Lead role will lead our program management processes across all B2B, Resiliency, and Cybersecurity Initiatives. The lead will be responsible for ensuring that our project tracking, status reporting, capacity management, intake, and closure processes are well documented and well run. The Process Lead will support all project and program managers as they use our processes and tools to increase velocity and deliver consistent results. The Process Lead will also develop summary status and team performance reports that are based on data coming from the process. Last, the lead will assist with critical projects where additional project management expertise is needed.

Skills:

  • Ability to establish strong partnerships with managers and leaders across the organization

  • Ability to understand process issues, propose solutions, and implement them

  • Strong organizational skills, ensuring that a wide variety of project managers are completing tasks, and following up if needed

  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex ideas into easy-to-digest summaries

  • Ability to develop delivery plans and track schedules and roadmaps

  • Ability to roll up details into high-level themes

  • Relationship-building, problem-solving, and time management skills

Experience:

  • At least 2 years project management experience with overall 5-10 years experience in a corporate environment.

  • 2+ years experience with JIRA, preferably with JIRA Cloud

  • Experience with formal project management methodologies, and familiarity with Program Management concepts

  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies

  • Experience developing concise process documents and forms to support project management processes

  • Experience developing and implementing process improvements, an measuring the success of this against business objectives

  • PMP Certification is a plus
