Dow Jones is seeking a Director of Product Management for Search-as-a-Platform as we reimagine a best-in-class search experience for our B2C and B2B products including Factiva, WSJ, Barron’s, Marketwatch, Newswires and more.
Partner with key stakeholders to lead and define the Search vision and strategy.
Identify trends and best-in-class Search user experience based on use cases and customers’ expectations
Draft product requirements, user stories and details taking a user-focused approach to product development.
Plan and execute (agile) roadmaps for web and mobile search experiences across the product portfolio, working cross-functionally with technology, design/UX, and project management teams.
Partner cross-functionally and globally with developers, UX, customer intelligence, delivery, and business strategy teams to bring Search strategy to life.
Define and measure Search KPIs for success.
Use data and customer insights to make data informed decisions.
Develop testing plans to validate search strategy, in partnership with customer intelligence and data teams.
Leverage LEAN Product development approach in bringing new products and features to market quickly and for ongoing iteration.
Specialization in Search technologies and product management covering the following domains:
Natural Language and Semantic Search
Machine learning and Natural Language Processing technologies
Predictive Analytics & Statistics
8+ years of Product Management or equivalent technical experience.
Experience with Search solutions, B2B workflow solutions, media products, and/or financial services products.
Familiarity with AWS platforms and technologies.
● Highly collaborative, make-things-happen mindset balancing consensus-building with decisiveness and speed.
● Able to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels and across a globally-distributed organization.
● Able to facilitate disparate stakeholders and team members, negotiate multiple points of strategy contention, and drive consensus in meetings, workshops and one to one Interactions.
● Hands-on approach to product management and customer experience.
Hybrid 3x days a week in one of these offices:
